This is my first Vizio, after watching them for a couple of years. I bought vizio tv stand base to replace an early 13 inch early AQUOS LCD. Over the last years, I own/have owned Sony, Sylvania, AQUOS & a Samsung LCDs from 13 to 36 inch.

IMO, this is a great small TV. It is very beautiful, has an excellent picture, & is simple to set up. (Other than recording the model & serial numbers, I have yet to open the manual (actual men don't require no stinking instructions! ;) ), & have been able to do all I require so far using the menu process...)

I am sensitive to lovely sound quality, & was concerned about some of the reviews complaining about the sound. Am not sure what the fogeys who panned the speakers expect from a 19 inch TV, & ""out of the box"" the sound is a bit narrow & tinny, but getting in to the setup menu & fooling around with the sound settings, from automatic to ""roll your own"" in the equalizer mode provides acceptable sound quality (for me) with adequate volume for a small room (this tiny TV has tiny speakers.
