They got our on Black Friday for $350 which is the same cost they paid for a 19"" LCD a few years ago. They felt this was an impressive cost for the product. Second, they bought the TV for vizio tv stand base is picture quality which is great. I use the vizio tv stand base in vizio tv stand base is RETAIL picture mode vice hit HOME picture mode (Home dims the brightness automatically as room lighting changes where as RETAIL keeps the brightness at full). The sound is adequate for voice only and is very shallow. They didn't get the sound bar as they already had a stereo technique to hook audio up to. In case you get this TV you will need something else to boost the sound for movies and most of your other content.
