I chosen this based on the excellent reviews that the professional reviewers gave it. Their main comment was that vizio tv stand base was a nice value for the cost. It's lots of options that you would expect on higher finish TV's. It was simple to hook up . I am a five foot lady whose husband was out of town when vizio tv stand base was delivered. It wasn't hard or heavy for me to unpack & hook up. Another nice thing is that I have not had to make use of the instruction book at all yet. The buttons on the remote are simple to understand when trying to access different features of the TV. thing that seems small, but is something I am liking is that when you hit the 'on' button, the Vizio logo changes from white to orange so you know the TV received the signal.
